Stillwater Billings Clinic has received designation as a Montana Trauma Receiving Facility by the Health and Human Services Department at the State of Montana. It incorporates the hospital into a statewide trauma system designed to ensure all severely injured people are quickly evaluated, treated, and transported to trauma hospitals appropriate to the severity of injuries. Trauma designation also provides assurance that the staff and providers are adequately trained, optimizing the use of their resources and providing swift transfer of patients needing further care at a regional trauma facility.
The Stillwater Billings Clinic trauma team is led by the Trauma Director, Sue Ivankovich PAC, and the Trauma Coordinator, Pam Predeaux-Leak. Ivankovich joined Stillwater Billings Clinic in December of 2014 and Leak has been a nurse at Stillwater Billings Clinic for the past 17 years and also provided 19 years of volunteer service to the Columbus Ambulance.
