Services

Emergency

Our Care Team  is here to provide emergency care for you and your loved ones 24 hours a day/7 days a week, and when you need it.

The emergency department is equipped with five technologically advanced rooms, of which two are designated specifically for trauma cases. We have a comfortable waiting room for families and friends while patients are being treated as well as a private family room for those dealing with an unfortunate situation.

Trauma Designation

Stillwater Billings Clinic has received designation as a Montana Trauma Receiving Facility by the Health and Human Services Department at the State of Montana. It incorporates the hospital into a statewide trauma system designed to ensure all severely injured people are quickly evaluated, treated, and transported to trauma hospitals appropriate to the severity of injuries. Trauma designation also provides assurance that the staff and providers are adequately trained, optimizing the use of their resources and providing swift transfer of patients needing further care at a regional trauma facility.  Our Care Team has extensive training in areas such as Advanced Trauma Life Support, Pediatric Advanced Trauma Life Support, Trauma Nurse Core Curriculum, and Emergency Nurse Provider training.

The Stillwater Billings Clinic trauma team is led by the Trauma Director, Ed Sheils, PA-C, and the Trauma Coordinator, Pam Predeaux-Leak
