Medical Nutrition Therapy
Medical Nutrition Therapy includes diabetes, cardiac, and weight management. Stillwater Billings Clinic has a registered dietitian as part of their healthcare team. The dietitian provides medical nutrition therapy for different disease states. A referral from a provider is the first step toward medical nutrition therapy services.
Provides education on a consistent carbohydrate meal plan, carbohydrate counting, glucose monitoring, and promoting healthy lifestyles.
Provides education on heart healthy meal plans, reducing cholesterol, improving lipid profile, and promoting healthy lifestyles.
Provides coaching for making changes in lifestyle through portion control, physical activity, and becoming nutrition savvy.
The cafeteria is currently not open to the public.
Women, Infants, and Children (WIC)
WIC is a supplemental food and nutrition education program for women, infants, and children that meet income eligibility guidelines. This program provides foods high in nutrients that are necessary for health in women, infants, and children. It also provides nutrition education for the individuals and families participating in WIC
When are WIC appointments?
Stillwater WIC offers 2 clinics per month. WIC appointments are scheduled for the 3rd Tuesday of the month as well as the Monday afternoon prior to that Tuesday. Immunizations are offered to WIC clients during that time.
