Stillwater Billings Clinic’s outpatient cardiac rehabilitation program has been honored as the top performing small hospital in Montana and northern Wyoming.  

Of the 13 quality indicators evaluated, Stillwater’s cardiac rehab program exceeded the regional benchmark in 9 of the 13, according to the news release by the Montana Association of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation (MACVPR) and the Cardiovascular Health Program within the Department of Public Health and Human Services.  

The program run by Jule’ Bruursema RN, has participated in the Montana Cardiac Rehabilitation Outcomes Project for 12 years.  

There are more that 110 cardiac rehab programs from 16 states tracking and reporting on a uniform set of evidence-based quality indicators, according to the news release.
